The Pader Restoration Resource Centre (PRRC) was built by Emmanuel International Uganda (EIUganda), on land owned by the Diocese of Kitgum, and has been used in the past for various activities and is in need of some work to make it safe once again

Last year, we engaged Engineering Ministries International to come and do a structural assessment of the buildings, which have been visibly deteriorating.

Recommendations from the Engineer:

Extensive drainage work around the compound
A geotechnical survey, which will help EI Uganda know how much reinforcement needs to be done to the foundations of the office and multi-purpose hall
Renovate the buildings

Our vision for this project is not only to renovate the existing buildings, but to transform the PRRC into the Shalom for Every Nation Discipleship (SEND) Centre. The SEND Centre will be a fully-fledged training campus, complete with a classroom, male and female dormitory, a residence for visiting trainers/facilitators, a kitchen, a secure parking area, and separate male and female latrine blocks. At the SEND Centre, we would continue to offer key foundational discipleship and missions mobilization trainings for the area churches that we have already been doing. However, we also plan to offer modular, medium-term training in cross-cultural missions for prospective missionaries wishing to be sent by their home churches.

EIC is part of the Canadian Centre for Christian Charities and is taking every step necessary to abide by CCCC’s Standards of Accountability.

Donation Receipts will be provided for all donations. All gifts received are used for the purposes for which they were raised with the understanding that when the need for such programs have been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the organization, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed with Board approval.
