Welcome to EI Canada

EI Canada is one of eight (affiliate or project countries) offices of Emmanuel Relief and Rehabilitation International. We are Emmanuel International Canada (EI Canada or EI for short). EI Canada is an international, interdenominational, evangelical organization that assists communities worldwide through the agency of the churches within those communities in order to meet the needs of the poor. Founded in 1975 by Rev. George Middleton as a response to the widespread suffering caused by a devastating famine in eastern Africa, Emmanuel International has a proven record of commitment, care and compassion in addressing these needs.

EI Canada links caring Canadians with churches worldwide to transform lives in the most desperate places, bringing hope and healing to communities, families and individuals.

EI Canada began as an affiliate of EI on March 31, 1983 and has operated out of the International Headquarters in Stouffville, Ontario since its inception.

The programs we implement involve working in the areas of Sustainable Development, Relief and Rehabilitation, Education, Health, Christian Outreach and more.

EI Canada partners with and works through the agency of local churches within needy communities throughout the world in order to assist them in meeting the specific needs of their communities.

GRASS ROOTS
EI Canada programs meet basic needs at the community level, using simple technology that is easy to replicate and maintain.

Since 2019, the Colin Campbell Team of Keller Williams Realty Centres has been supporting families in York Region by providing food packs, helping ease the burden of putting meals on the table during Christmas.

In 2026, Colin Campbell Team has partnered with Emmanuel International Canada to extend that impact—reaching families both in York Region and in Malawi.

The holidays don't wait for people to catch up.

Grocery cost are up, and more families are quietly stretched.

Support networks are maxed out.

This is the season a community either shows up, or people go without

Sponsor holiday grocery packs. A family in York Region and Malawi will be fed this Christmas.

2,000, is the mission. 1,000,000 is the movement we're building.

EIC is part of the Canadian Centre for Christian Charities and is taking every step necessary to abide by CCCC’s Standards of Accountability.

Donation Receipts will be provided for all donations. All gifts received are used for the purposes for which they were raised with the understanding that when the need for such programs have been met, or cannot be completed for any reason as determined by the organization, the remaining restricted contributions will be used where most needed with Board approval.
