A successful 2018 Emmanuel International Gala & Auction was held at Springvale Church in Stouffville on Saturday 27th October.

The silent auction was popular as with the live auction by master auctioneer Gary McGowan.
Money raised on the night was for the EIC PROMISE project in Malawi.

Steve Jones, National President Fellowship of Evangelical Baptist Churches in Canada was the Keynote Speaker. He presented on reaching out and helping like Emmanuel International is achieving around the world.

Jen & Brian Simcoe presented on their recent trip to Malawi.

Kristy Nowell Project Manager presented on the PROMISE project in Malawi with some personal stories from the field to those attending.

The purpose of this project is to reduce maternal and child mortality in Malawi  through three interrelated and interconnected intermediate outcomes, namely; 1) improved delivery of essential health services to mothers, pregnant women, newborns and children under five; 2) improved utilization of essential health services by mothers, pregnant women, newborns and children under five; and 3) increased consumption of nutritious foods and supplements by mothers, pregnant women, newborns and children under five.
